For Greiner Packaging s.r.o., a manufacturer of plastic food packaging, we have exchanged out-of-date T8 fluorescent lamps for new modern LEDs with special optics in the rack warehouse area, during the planned shutdown. The luminaires were installed at an altitude of 11 meters, requiring high uniformity and high-quality lighting throughout the rack height. Luminaires are controlled by motion sensors in individual rack lanes and 50% of them are connected to UPS backup sources. By installing modern LED luminaires with special optics and motion sensor control, the customer has saved operating costs of 75% and got a significant improvement in working conditions.
